Just tried a range of Chinese spots in Vegas — some were amazing surprises, others didn’t quite meet the hype (looking at you, Da Dan Ge!). Here’s my honest rundown: 🍜 Yun Noodles and Dumplings Cold Skin Noodles – Absolutely addictive! Couldn’t stop eating 😋 Beef Noodle Soup – Tastes just like home 🐮 Lamb Chops – Tender, but seasoning was a bit light. Good, not great. 🦀 Crab Prince Pick your ingredients & choose between mala tang or dry pot A bit too salty even for my strong taste — I rinsed mine in water 😅 Still satisfying though! A pleasant surprise. 🟡 Solid Picks – Worth a Visit Shanghai Taste Sweet-salty duck – delicious! Soup Dumplings – above average Veggie dishes – just okay 🍵 Urban Matcha Matcha Soft Serve – strong, bitter, authentic flavor A bit too icy (I prefer creamier texture) So potent it kept me awake at night! 🌙 🥘 Mala Town New spot in the same plaza as Tang Tang Tang Good ingredient selection, decent taste — but not super memorable 👎 Overhyped & Underwhelming Da Dan Ge (Xi’an Style) Lamb Soup – too much pepper, mild lamb flavor Xi’an Cold Noodles – overly sour (and I love sour!)
