I visited around the same time last year and was blown away, but this time — maybe because I’ve tried the LA location — it felt a bit less special. 🍽 Food Breakdown: 🐮 Wagyu Feast (for two) Served on a dramatic bull-shaped platter! Includes: Wagyu sashimi: High-quality, fresh, and tasty Wagyu-wrapped uni: Creative idea, but the uni was bitter and fishy 😬 Grilled Wagyu: Good texture, but the sauce overpowered the beef’s natural flavor Beef tongue: Springy and well-prepared — a highlight! 🥩 Wagyu Hot Pot Platter Good, but not as evenly marbled as the LA location’s. Tasty but not mind-blowing. 💣 Wagyu Sandwich (Skip It!) Came out cold, overly greasy, with thick breading and under-seasoned, very rare meat. We complained — the staff was extremely apologetic and removed it from the bill. Service saved the moment! 🥣 Sesame Sauce As a Beijing native, I approve! Authentic with a touch of fermented tofu — just like home. 🍲 Broth Similar to LA’s, but twice the price (no membership discount here). Comes with quail eggs and other goodies.
