Las Vegas Family Trip | Authentic Chinese Seafood
SK Seafood Restaurant 📍 5600 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146 We arrived around 8 PM and still had to wait 20 minutes—this place is popular for a reason! Recommended by my uncle-in-law who travels all over the U.S. for work, he said it’s hard to find Cantonese food as authentic as this! And he was right—everyone in the family loved it! ❤️ 🔺 Stir-Fried Clams We tried two styles: scallion & ginger 🧅 and black bean sauce. I personally loved the scallion & ginger version—light, fresh, and really highlighted the seafood’s natural sweetness! 🔺 Beef Chow Fun Sooo good! 🐮🍜 The beef was tender, the bean sprouts were crispy, and my daughter couldn’t get enough of it! 🔺 Pork Intestines with Pickled Mustard Greens & Onions A surprising standout! 🐖💚 The intestines were braised until soft and flavorful—no off-taste at all! The pickled greens added a delicious tang. Even my husband, who usually avoids offal, enjoyed it (though my father-in-law kept saying “Don’t tell him what it is!” 😂). 🔺 String Beans with Pork Neck The beans were a bit chewy since they’re stir-fried, but the pork neck was crispy and fragrant! 🔺 Stir-Fried Pea Shoots with Garlic Fresh and aromatic! 🌿🧄 Though whether they’re tender or fibrous is really luck of the draw. 🔺 White Cut Chicken They use free-range chicken—so tender! 🍗 Served with scallion oil sauce… absolutely amazing! 🔺 Salt & Pepper Pork Chops (I think? My father-in-law ordered in Cantonese 😅) Crispy on the outside, juicy inside—even my kiddo loved it! 💕 Overall: The food was truly delicious! The only downside was the drink options—no Hong Kong-style milk tea, no salted lemon soda 🥤, just tea and soft drinks. They didn’t even have the plum juice listed on the menu… But you’ll definitely need lots of water with your meal here—everything is so flavorful and umami-rich! 😋💦 #LasVegasFood #CantoneseCuisine #SKSeafood #FamilyFriendly #ChineseFood #VegasEats
