Las Vegas Food Diary 🍣🍜🔥
888 JAPANESE BBQ AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) grill + sushi! We joined the Yelp waitlist an hour ahead and headed over when it was almost our turn—otherwise, the wait can be long! You can order 5 items at a time for both meat and sushi. Portions are small but the meat quality is decent. Service is quick and the grill fire is strong—great experience overall! 🥩🔥 Hot N Juicy Crawfish We visited the location near MGM. This time we tried two “two-hand po’ boys”—kind of like fried shrimp burgers—pretty tasty! 🍤 The crawfish happened to be on market price special—very fresh! But compared to the flavors we’re used to from Vancouver or back home, the American-style seasoning felt a bit less exciting. 🦞 Yama Sushi AYCE sushi. Originally planned to go to Sakana next door, but the line was too long so we tried this place. Every roll was packed with rice—super filling! Flavor was just okay. Some rolls had way too much cream and cheese—overwhelming. Not really recommended. 🍙🙅♀️ Sushi Neko This AYCE sushi spot is much better! Wide variety of dishes, and most rolls are fish-heavy with less rice! The limited-time items are delicious! Located in Chinatown—if the line is long, there are plenty of other options nearby. 🍣👍 Noodlehead The noodles are so chewy and fresh! For the tomato egg noodle soup, you can even choose thick or thin noodles—so authentic! 🍜🍅🥚 Have you tried any of these spots? What’s your favorite AYCE or noodle place in Vegas?
