Spent a week in scorching Vegas and tried a range of spots — here’s my personal take: 🍲 X Pot – Xiang Hot Pot Located inside The Venetian, this is the luxe version of the famous chain. We got the tasting menu ($158/person). Pros: Wagyu salad & foie gras caviar were decent, spicy broth had great flavor Cons: Dessert was just okay, and the portion was way too much for two A creative fusion of hot pot and fine dining — great for a unique experience! 🎨 Picasso A surprisingly affordable Michelin 3-star 🌟🌟🌟 at ~$150/person. Food: 7/10 — but the view and vibe are unbeatable! I sat facing the Bellagio Fountains — watching the show every 15 minutes from 8 PM was magical ⛲ 🦀 Crab & Spice Master In Chinatown — specializes in Sichuan food, build-your-own mala tang, and crab. The spicy crab was impressive! 🍯 Sweet-tooth tip: Cross the street for Tiger Sugar boba after! 🍨 Cafe Gelato The best gelato in Vegas — inside Bellagio. A classic spot that’s stood the test of time. Mango sorbet: Pure, natural mango flavor — no artificial sweetness Chocolate gelato: Rich but not overly sweet I tried many gelato spots in the heat — this one wins 🏆 🥢 Din Tai Fung (Aria) As someone from Yangzhou, I’m picky about dim sum. Only the crab roe xiao long bao was passable. The “steamed dumpling” in the photo was… not what I call a dumpling 😅 Come visit Yangzhou — I’ll treat you to the real deal: thin-skinned, juice-filled steamed dumplings! 🦀 Wynn Buffet Heard Vegas buffets are a must-try — but this was the worst meal of the week. Only upside: unlimited snow crab legs Downside: They were salty and not fresh Even a ¥70 RMB buffet in China has better variety.
