Las Vegas is My Food Paradise! | Part 2
7⃣️ El Segundo Sol 🇲🇽 Mexican Restaurant After visiting Antelope Canyon, we were starving and looking for a place to eat 🍴. Most fine dining spots in Vegas were fully booked (some require reservations 1–2 months in advance!), so we remembered a recommendation from a local driver and tried this Mexican restaurant. It was seriously impressive!! We pretty much ordered blindly: 🦐 Shrimp Cocktail — came overflowing with shrimp in a tangy sauce, served with tortilla chips… couldn’t stop dipping! 🌮 Mahi Tacos — perfectly grilled fish with sweet onions and bell peppers, balanced with 5–6 different sauces like tomato salsa and avocado crema. 🔥 Fajita Platter — with grilled pork, black beans, salad, cilantro rice, and tortillas. The pork was a unanimous favorite! We all agreed: Vegas doesn’t need to be about “viral spots” — local recommendations can be just as amazing! 8⃣️ In-N-Out Burger 🍔 A California-exclusive classic we’d heard so much about! Who else eats dinner at 8 PM, rides the High Roller, then comes down for burgers? 😂 Their menu is simple: three burger options + fries. The burger buns are toasted and crispy 🍞 — add extra grilled onions for an unforgettable aroma! The fries taste incredibly fresh, like real potatoes just cut and fried. 9⃣️ Chanko Shabu & Izakaya 🍲 Japanese Sukiyaki & Hot Pot! We heard it gets busy, so we went for lunch on our last day — and it was pleasantly quiet. We ordered: 🍢 Shabu Shabu (small hot pot) 🥘 Sukiyaki (sweet soy-based hot pot) 🍢 Oden (simmered assortment) — the broth was rich and slightly sweet, packed with fish cakes (though we missed ingredients like daikon and mushrooms). 🐟 Saba Shioyaki (salt-grilled mackerel) — crispy skin, tender flesh, with a squeeze of lemon to cut through the richness. Overall, a cozy and satisfying meal! 🔟 Kung Fu Noodle & BBQ Our last meal in Vegas — finally made it to the long-awaited Kung Fu! We ordered: 🦆 Combo Platter: Roast Duck & Pork Belly — certified authentic by this Cantonese food lover! Served with tangy plum sauce, not greasy at all. 🍜 Dry-Fried Beef Ho Fun — tender beef with flavorful, well-seasoned rice noodles… truly tasted like a Hong Kong-style café! 🥬 Oyster Sauce Gai Lan — simple but well-executed. #Vegas #LasVegasEats #VegasFood #FoodParadise
