Las Vegas It-Girl Favorite Italian Spot — How Is It Really? 🍝✨
📍 Matteo's Ristorante Italiano | The Venetian 📌 Address: The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 💰 Average: $100+ (high-end Italian dining inside a Vegas hotel) After touring the national parks out west, an it-girl friend in our group recommended this spot. Located inside The Venetian, it’s a high-end Italian restaurant with understated yet design-forward decor — the kind of place where you feel your wallet getting lighter as you walk in 😅. The atmosphere is elegant, service is attentive — perfect for anniversaries or romantic dates with a “special occasion” vibe. But if you’re here for great food and good portions… maybe adjust your expectations. 🍽 Food Impressions: 🔸 Salmon Carpaccio (3.8/5) Slices were a bit thin — fish was fresh but flavor was mild. The yogurt-cheese sauce in the middle added nice texture, but overall not memorable. 🔸 Dry-Aged Rib Eye (4.1/5) Mid-to-lower tier for dry-aged beef — beautiful marbling, cooked right, but lacking robust flavor. The balsamic-based sauce (tangy, slightly sweet) was creative but polarizing — not bad, just overpriced. 🔸 Squid Ink Pasta with Octopus Stew (3.8/5) Rich and heavy, the sauce tasted unexpectedly “Chinese-stir-fry style” — like an upscale seafood noodle dish. Not cloying, but not exciting either. 🔸 Antipasti Platter (3.9/5) Beautifully plated with good variety, but seasonings were subtle — more for the ’gram than the palate. #LasVegasExploration #TheVenetian #ItalianCuisine #VegasDateSpot #LasVegasFood
