Las Vegas Restaurant Carbone | The Hardest Reservation to Get! š
I went to Carbone in Vegas with a friend who used to live in New York! The original location is in NYC and is famously impossible to get intoāeven after years of living there, they never managed to snag a table! Luckily, the Vegas location is a bit easier to book! š We started with complimentary aged cheese, bread, ham, and pickles. The cheese was an 18-month aged variety, super aromatic. Iām not a big cheese person, but everyone else loved it! The bread was perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, with just the right seasoning. If we hadnāt ordered so much food, I wouldāve eaten way more! š§š š Eggplant & Zucchini Scapece A refreshing and appetizing starter! Great for sharing if youāre in a group. š Octopus Pizzaiolo One of the most tender grilled octopus dishes Iāve ever had! Served with flavorful mushrooms and pan-fried potatoesāso good! š¦ Calamari Marco This was the dish my boyfriend and I couldnāt stop talking about! If you like fried calamari, you MUST order this! Lightly battered, crispy, and tenderāabsolutely perfect! š„© Porterhouse We pre-ordered this when making the reservation. Itās on the pricier side at $270+, but the portion is huge! Cooked perfectly, and paired with a tangy sauceāit was incredibly satisfying! š Spicy Rigatoni Vodka A signature dish! Though itās a simple tomato-based pasta with no meat, the rich, slightly spicy sauce is unforgettable. The pasta was al dente, and each piece was coated in flavor. Tied with the calamari as my favorite! š š Linguini Vongole The other three people in our group preferred this clam pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly, paired with tender clams and crispy fried garlicāa delicious combination! š° For dessert, we tried the carrot cake (pretty good, not too sweet!). They also served complimentary petit fours after the meal (sweetness alert! šØ). Overall, we left super full and happy! Since we tried almost everything we wanted, we probably wonāt be back soon, but it was a great experience! After tax and tip, it came to about $150 per person. (Without the steak, itās actually pretty reasonable!). Their appetizers are amazingāif you skip the steak, try more small plates for better value! Have you been to Carbone?
