Las Vegas Tapas ⚠️ Warning
This place — A Different Beast — I won't be coming back. My friend and I left the meal like: 😑 Huh?? Let’s start with the good, just to be fair: Desserts were actually okay! 🍫 Churros: Dark chocolate, not too oily — fine. 🍦 Frozen Crema Catalana: Nice caramel aroma, smooth ice cream underneath — this one gets my approval. But… the savory dishes were a total letdown 💥. 🚨 Major Red Flags: 1️⃣ Annoying ordering restrictions Each person can only order one serving of foie gras / sashimi / beef. Sounds fancy, right? Translation: The good stuff? Can’t have more. The bad stuff? Keeps coming. 2️⃣ Forced bread pairing with every dish 🥖 You have to finish the bread — or you get charged extra. You can’t even say: "I don’t want the bread." Result? We were forced to eat bread nonstop — to the point of feeling sick 🤢. Full but deeply unsatisfied. 3️⃣ Olive oil overload 🫒 Almost every dish was drenched in olive oil — bitter, heavy, and completely overpowering the ingredients. By the end, all I could taste was bitterness. 💥 Worst dishes: Braised Short Rib + Truffle Purée: Truffle flavor barely there, beef was dry yet fatty. Bay Scallop Ceviche: Over-spiced and bitter — couldn’t taste the scallop’s sweetness. Croquetta de Jamón: No potato flavor, barely any ham, just greasy and hard to swallow. 😐 The only somewhat edible dishes: Smoked Salmon + Cheese: Tasty but too rich. Potato Salad: The most balanced dish — not oily or bitter. Foie Gras + Honey Cracker: Actually good — tender, melts in your mouth… but you can only order one (extra order +$10 🙃). Overall experience: 👉 Stuffed with olive oil + bread 👉 Over-seasoned, often bitter 👉 Too many rules, food doesn’t live up Desserts couldn’t save this meal — this was a true food fail 🫠. Won’t return, wouldn’t recommend. Run! 🏃♀️💨 #LasVegasTips #LasVegas #LasVegasFood #FoodieFail #VegasTravel #TapasWarning 🚫🍽️😬
