Last Day in Lebanon 🇱🇧 | A Love Letter to Beirut

Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows at Beirut Airport, the Mediterranean breeze carries the scent of fishing boats from Jounieh Harbor 🌊✨— This morning, I walked the cobblestones of Old Beirut one last time, still cool with last night’s mint tea in their cracks 🍃. At noon, in Bourj Hammoud Market, the pomegranate juice auntie waved a cup of ruby-red nectar at me: “Habibi, one more?” 🧑🏽🌾🍹 I smiled and declined... but pocketed the lime she shoved into my hands anyway 😉. By sunset, I stood on Ramlet el-Bayda’s rocks, watching the sea turn to liquid marmalade 🍊🌅. An elderly couple strolled by, hand in hand—the man pointed to the horizon: “See? Where Phoenician ships once anchored.” ⛵ Turns out, this “last day” was just me packing Lebanon’s sunshine, sea salt, and strangers’ smiles into my suitcase, tucked between bars of olive soap 🧼💛. Next time, I’ll— Walk every unfinished cobblestone path 🚶🏽♀️ Order two pomegranate juices 🍹🍹 Let the mint tea steep longer ☕ Goodbye for now, Beirut. You’re a souvenir I’ll never unpack. #TravelDiaries #MiddleEastMagic #SoloTravel #Wanderlust #LebanonLove #TravelPhotography #BudgetTravel #RomanticizeYourLife #MomentsThatMatter
