Le Sรฉlect | Toronto DT's Best Foie Gras Cake
Atmosphere: ๐๐๐๐๐ Simple yet cozy decor with brown-red leather sofas, white tablecloths, dim lighting, and European-style murals on the walls. It feels very warm and perfect for a romantic date. Foie Gras Mousse Cake ๐๐๐๐๐ If there were 6 stars, Iโd give it 6! Itโs not greasy at all! The combination of tangy fruit jam and salty sea salt is absolutely delicious!! I ended up eating two plates by myself. Creamy Baked Scallops ๐๐๐๐ The scallops were fresh and tender. Although the surface was crispy from baking, it wasnโt dry. The sauce had a nice garlic butter flavor. I personally found it a bit oily, so Iโll give it 4 stars. Pan-Seared Cod ๐๐๐ The skin wasnโt crispy; it had more of a potato-like texture. The fish was a bit dry, and the accompanying mayonnaise sauce was quite ordinary. Itโs not terrible, but I wouldnโt recommend ordering this at Le Sรฉlect Bistro. Duck Confit ๐๐๐๐ This is their signature dish, and the presentation and portion size are impressiveโwith a whole duck leg and a big serving of beans and rice. The skin was somewhere between crispy and not crispy, and the meat was a bit dry. I was a bit disappointed, so Iโll give it 4 stars. The lamb chops were better. Lamb Chops ๐๐๐๐๐ Delicious! The lamb flavor was mild, the meat was tender, and the doneness was perfectโno blood but still juicy. The side of layered cabbage was also thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended! ๐ด: Around $100 per person, not including drinks #CanadianRestaurants #TorontoFrenchCuisine #TorontoEats #TorontoDTFood #TorontoLife #TorontoRomanticRestaurants #TorontoDateNight #TorontoDineOut #TorontoDuckConfit #TorontoFoieGras #TorontoRestaurantReview #TorontoLambChops ### Name: Le Sรฉlect Bistro Address: 432 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1E3 Type: Restaurant ###
