Legion of Honor Monet’s Paintings Just Got an Extra Look

🔹 As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by Rodin’s The Thinker. If you think that’s all, there’s more: the museum’s jewel — Monet’s Water Lilies is here to stay (in Gallery 19). Besides Water Lilies, there are several other works by Monet. Additionally, there’s a free organ performance every Saturday afternoon where people sit in the hall listening to music. It’s quite a concert-like feel and very pleasant. 🔸 The scenery outside the museum is also nice. Many people choose to take outdoor portraits here. There’s also a golf course nearby, making it another day of envying the Bay Area folks playing golf. If you have time, you can walk through the golf course and even catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge, which is a popular spot for wedding photos. 🎫 Adults $20 for tickets purchased on-site. Bay Area ID (just need a driver’s license) gets in free on Saturdays, and the first Tuesday of every month is free for everyone.
