LIC Sichuan & Hunan Cuisine|Sichuan Pepper Fish & Stir-Fried Beef 🌶️

The newly opened Red Sorghum in LIC is a real standout—traveled far with friends and wasn’t disappointed. Great ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful dishes made it worth the trip. 🍴 Red Sorghum 📍 28-03 Jackson Ave, Queens, NY 11101 It’s not strictly traditional Sichuan-Hunan—there’s some adaptation here, and the spice level is moderated—but the taste is genuinely good. 🐟 Sichuan Pepper Fish – My favorite! A tangy fish soup base with a numbing kick from green Sichuan peppercorns. Loaded with enoki mushrooms, bean sprouts, and konjac noodles. 🥩 Stir-Fried Beef – Tender, wok-seared beef with a restrained heat and plenty of cilantro—perfect over rice. 🦐 Garlic Steamed Prawns with Glass Noodles – Large, firm prawns in a rich but not oily garlic sauce. 🥢 Couple’s Beef Slices & Red Oil Chicken – Classic Sichuan cold dishes, generous portions, well-executed. Beyond the food, they offer creative cocktails 🍸 in a stylish setting—great for post-work or post-class hangs with friends. #SichuanCuisine #HunanFood #ChineseCuisine #RestaurantRec #HiddenGem #VibeDining #Foodie #NYC #FoodLife #StirFriedBeef #NYCLife #NYCFoodGuide #NYCExploration #NYCChineseFood #NYCFood #LICFoodScene #NYCEats
