Lisbon | The Trendy Kitchen of Portuguese Cuisine 🍽️

🦐In Lisbon, if you don't know what to eat or if you've missed meal times and the restaurants on the street are closed, head to Time Out Market. All the Portuguese delicacies are right here, with star chefs managing the city's most famous steak 🥩 shops, super popular egg tart shops, ice cream 🍦 stores with over 60 years of history, and incredibly hot seafood 🦞 spots, and so much more. You can taste a variety of local specialties such as sheep's cheese, ham, barbecue, chocolate 🍫, and almost every store has a long line during meal times. 🏠This place was originally a traditional market with a history of over a century. Since being acquired by Time Out magazine in 2014, it has been transformed into a trendy food market, housing 36 fantastic restaurants, as well as branches selling canned fish and red wine. Besides the food court, the original market is still preserved, and it's worth a visit if you have time. 👨‍🍳The open kitchens are very reassuring. I've been there twice and tried different stores, and there were hardly any bad experiences. 🐂Here are a few recommendations that are worth trying: ♥️MARISQUEIRA AZUL: A Michelin-starred seafood place where you can dine at the bar. It's said to be the best seafood 🦞 restaurant in Portugal, with the best suppliers, and their oysters are pretty good too. ♥️ALEXANDRE SILVA: The store is named after this star chef, who is the only chef at Lisbon's Time Out to receive a 6-star honor. Everything at his place is delicious and affordable, with dishes like fried cod and seafood pasta all priced at just over 10 euros. They also offer other meat dishes, Street Food, and beverages. ♥️MARLENE VIEIRA: The store is also named after this talented chef. Marlene Vieira is a representative figure among female chefs, specializing in traditional Portuguese cuisine. Ordering seafood appetizers at her place is a safe bet, especially dishes like squid and octopus, which I love. ⏰The previous business hours were from 8 am to 2 am, and the adjacent market closes at 2 pm. #Portugal #PortugalLife #PortugueseFood #LisbonExplore #LisbonFood
