Lisbon | Witnessing the End of the Jacaranda Season 💜
I first learned about jacarandas from the NewJeans MV “Behind”. 😄 The members mentioned that the jacarandas hadn’t bloomed yet during the MV shoot, and they heard it’s beautiful when they do. When I visited Lisbon, it was the end of May and the beginning of June. The traces of jacarandas were still visible everywhere. Being a lover of purple, I really adore this flower! 💜 I must say that the grand blooming season had already ended. For example, in Rossio Square, the flower branches were withering, leaving us to imagine the spectacular sight of full bloom. However, jacarandas can still be found in many places! (Including the park where NewJeans shot their MV, which is truly beautiful and worth a visit) 📍 Largo do Correio Mor 📍 Marquês de Pombal Square 📍 Chafariz do Carmo Special mention goes to the small square in front of the convent. Lisbon has many kiosks similar to newspaper stands, but they actually sell beverages. Just sitting down for a drink, with the breeze blowing and jacaranda flowers falling on your lap, the kiosk playing music. This moment is really chill. ☺️ #Embracing Summer Freely #TravelDiary #TravelMoments #Lisbon #EuropeTravel #Jacaranda #LisbonTravel #Portugal #SummerOngoing #BotanicalStyle
