Litchi Curry Duck Breast That Leaves You Craving for More 🍖

Soothr has always been my favorite Thai restaurant on the island, and I heard they opened a branch in LIC. So today at noon, I went downstairs to give it a try. 🍴 🍒As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the decor. The retro Thai atmosphere is just perfect, with red brick walls, wooden tables and chairs, and warm yellow lighting. It instantly transported me back to the old streets of Bangkok. 🍲 The dishes are all very unique: Pla Neung Manow (Steamed Fish with Sour and Spicy Sauce) – The authentic sour and spicy flavors are spot-on, and the fish is incredibly tender. 🐟 Panang Duck Lychee (Litchi Curry Duck) – This was a delightful surprise! The balance of sweet and spicy is just right, making it an amazing dish to enjoy with rice. 🍒 🐟 Au Suan (Oyster Pancake) – This Thai version of oyster pancake is packed with oysters and served with a tangy and spicy sauce. It’s super delicious! 🦪 For drinks, I ordered the Thai Viet Drip, which is similar to Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk. It’s rich and sweet, just perfect for a cozy meal. ☕️ 🍒 And you must try the Mango Koko Snowy – this drink is just amazing! The rich coconut flavor paired with cool mango is so refreshing. 🥭 🦪 The entire dining experience was super chill. The service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the ambiance was perfect. 📍 Sooth - LIC 25-20 43rd Ave, Long Island City #NewYork #ThaiCuisine #LICDining 🌟🌟
