Little Dog's European Travel to Paris, France
❣️We departed from the UK, taking a flight from Manchester to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Before departure, we took Happy to Manchester's pet4home for a check-up and obtained a health certificate (it's best to get it with a validity of only ten days, so do it as soon as possible). You also need to get a rabies vaccine 20 days in advance. Beautifully landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport and started our French travel! 🧩About Pet Travel Permits ❣️We contacted the airline (Air France) in advance, and they allowed pets in the cabin, which was very convenient. Contact them two or three days ahead! 🧩If you have a car, you can choose to take the Eurotunnel. We took a taxi back to Calais-Folkestone (the Eurotunnel takes about forty minutes, and the Folkestone train goes directly to London). The driver will take us to the pet reception to check the documents and perform French deworming (deworming must be done within 24 hours in advance!) before we can return. 🧐The round-trip cost about 400-550 pounds, which is a bit expensive. 🧩About Traveling in France France is a very dog-friendly country; many places allow dogs, and many taxis are also pet-friendly, which is very convenient! (It's really hard to get a taxi in Paris, though). The Eiffel Tower is really beautiful, and there are many professional balloon photographers under the tower, but the photos taken are very nice. We also went to the Arc de Triomphe for a photo, but unfortunately, we didn't go up to see it. 🧩About French Hotels We chose the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, which opened in 2021, very new and pet-friendly! I remember at that time they charged a pet fee of 50 euros per night. Hotel fees for pets in Paris are quite expensive, but the top-floor bar with a view of the Eiffel Tower is worth the price #TakingPetsToFrance #TravelInFrance #TravelingWithDogs #InternationalStudentsTakingPetsAbroad
