Live Photos | Abbotsford Tulip Festival 🌷: Prelude to Early Summer Ahhh spring and summer are just the best! 🌞 Even with just a little bit of sunshine, I’m dying to go out—cooped up no more! Left Vancouver at 11 AM and arrived at Abbotsford Tulip Festival by 12 PM 🚗. 🥙 Brodeur’s Bistro 12:00–13:00 We had lunch at Brodeur’s Bistro—pretty American-style, tasty, and huge portions! Like, *so* big we could barely finish 😋. Perfect fuel for the day! 🌷 Abbotsford 13:00–15:00 Two hours at the tulip festival—taking photos, feeling the breeze, just soaking it all in—plenty of time! Rows and rows of tulips in every color 🌈: pink, yellow, purple, red… absolute eye candy. Oh, and there was this super chill event staff member wandering around (maybe a cute pup? 🐶), so cute that everyone wanted to pet them! 🍧 Birchwood Dairy Farm 15:00–15:15 Stopped by Birchwood Dairy Farm for ice cream after the festival—total must! It’s rich and creamy, with tons of flavors 🍦, and the milkiness is spot on. They also sell fresh farm milk 🥛. There are a few lambs and calves to check out too, if you want—fluffy and adorable 🐑. 🐾 EcoFarm 15:15–16:00 If you want to see more animals, EcoFarm is the place—goats, sheep, maybe even some pigs! But make sure to time it right, they close at 4 PM!!! ⏰ Rushed in just in time, phew! 👍 Tips: 1. Buy tickets in advance on the official website—it’s a few dollars cheaper 💰. 2. Gas prices are lower than in Vancouver. We even filled up the tank there. That day, Vancouver’s gas was 201.9, while Abbotsford’s was either 186 or 189—score! ⛽ 3. After the tulips, this area hosts a sunflower festival 🌻, lavender festival 🌿, and pumpkin festival 🎃—something going on all year round. There are also lots of wineries nearby 🍷, making it a great day trip destination from Vancouver! Early summer vibes + tulips + ice cream = pure happiness ✨. Go make those memories! #Tulip#TulipFields#SpringBlossoms#VancouverTulipFestival#Vancouver#NorthAmeric#SteppingIntoApril#AbbotsfordTulips
