Liverpool City to Airport Guide (with Photo Spots!) ✈️📸

This trip to Liverpool felt different from my visits to York and Edinburgh last year—the city is brighter, with seagulls swooping low over the streets. Since few share airport transfer tips, here’s mine! 🚌 Airport Transport Made Easy From Albert Dock: I took Bus 500 from Liverpool One Bus Station (opposite the white Hilton—hard to miss!). No need to announce your stop: Just tap your card (see bus route in Luggage tip: Lay bags flat in the lower compartment (or they’ll slide—learned the hard way!). Smooth ride: ~30 mins, rarely crowded, and punctual! ✈️ Liverpool John Lennon Airport Tiny but efficient: Check-in → duty-free shops → gates (only ~10 in total). Ryanair warning: Online check-in is FREE—skip the £55/person penalty at the counter! 😱 📸 Photo Hotspots Metropolitan Cathedral + University of Liverpool Waterfront views with blue skies Leaf restaurant street (backlit but yummy!)
