Locust Nashville β Asian-American Fusion Fine Dining πΆοΈπ΄
Had to book a month in advance just for lunch β and it was worth the wait (even though we showed up early and had to wait outside in the heatβ¦ π« ). This place is famous for a reason! The menu looks small but donβt be fooled β we ordered almost everything and honestly? It was too much for two people. Next time, weβll be more selective! π Highlights: The Fish with Spicy Sichuan Chili Oil totally surprised me! ππ₯ Tender, firm fish with honeycomb and pickles β absolutely delicious and only $40! Milk Ice with Egg π§ β Creamy, sweet, and refreshing. Came for the berry soufflΓ© ice (thanks, Xiaohongshu!) but this was a happy accident. Tuna Crispy Rice & Beef Tartare β Tasty, but not mind-blowing. Good, just not "fusion wow." Irish Coffee βοΈπΎ β My new favorite coffee! Warm, not bitter, with a hint of alcohol. Would be perfect in winter. π Okay-ish: Melon & Sausage Starter β Melon wasnβt very sweet π, sausage was too salty π. Lamb Dumplings π₯ β Not my thing. Breakfast Set β Too oily, and the tempura (with blood sausage?) was a miss for me. Toast β First piece was great, second was too rich. The chef came over (crouching slightly β intense eye contact avoided π ) and insisted everything was amazingβ¦ but honestly, some dishes just didnβt hit right. π° Automatic 20% service charge. Worth it for the dishes we loved, but with a few misses, it felt a bit overpriced overall. π― Note to self: Next time, sit side by side with Sam β facing each other is overrated π π Locust 2305 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204 Will be back for dinner though β and next time, ordering only our faves! ππ₯’ #Nashville #LocustNashville #FineDining #AsianFusion #FoodReview
