Los Angeles|A Korean Fine Dining Experience at Baroo 🧆
🫗 I visited Baroo just before the New Year last year — I meant to write this review earlier (oops, procrastination got me 😅 Honestly, Korean fine dining spots are super rare in LA, So having a place like this is pretty special, and I think they’re doing a decent job! 👏 The menu theme at that time was: Life, Aging, Sickness, and Death — quite thought-provoking, right? But while the concept was interesting, the dishes weren’t mind-blowing. The only ones that really stood out to me were the two appetizers and the final shaved ice dessert. 🍧 Since I was driving that day 🚗, I went for non-alcoholic drinks — They seemed to be made with kombucha, and I actually loved them! So much that I even thought about trying to make kombucha at home 😄 The ambiance was lovely, and reservations need to be made about two weeks in advance. Note: Switching the main course to beef costs extra. Overall, the value isn’t the highest, but the experience was pleasant, and the service was really attentive. 🧆 Baroo 📍 905 E 2nd St #109, Los Angeles, CA 90012 Have you tried Baroo or any other Korean fine dining in LA?
