Los Angeles | Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House

Los Angeles Area | Newly Opened in Irvine – All-You-Can-Eat Sweet Shrimp Sashimi & Unlimited A5 Wagyu! 🍤🥩 Feels like it's been almost a year since I last visited this place. My memory was that even the Diamond tier had limited items~ But this time, I saw online that the new branch now offers completely unlimited options on the Diamond menu!! So I had to give it a try~ I even found a nearby trail to walk first~ Came with an empty stomach ready to feast! 🏃♀️💨 The new location is nicely decorated, and the meat display case looks upgraded too~ I’ve included the menu at the end—first time trying the highest tier so I’ll know what to pick next time!! Unlike Yumiyaki, here you can choose two soup bases, which makes hot potting other ingredients much more flavorful~ Appetizers and sushi are also all-you-can-order, and everything looked fresh! As a sweet shrimp lover, I devoured 10 pieces! Truly sweet shrimp freedom—so fresh~ ❤️ Also loved the wagyu bone marrow, though pairing it with bread fills you up fast. We tried every premium meat! The A5, of course, had the best texture—my favorite was the A5 wagyu brisket, dipped in egg wash—so tender and smooth!! The Australian purebred M9+ wagyu was also delicious, slightly more textured but not greasy at all. After a few rounds of A5, switching to this helps balance things out, otherwise, I’d be done too quickly~ 🥢 Seafood is also unlimited, and you can order items individually. I remember before, didn’t they require a full seafood platter? That was tricky since there’s a lot I don’t eat. Their black tiger shrimp was great in the hot pot!! After this feast, I think next time the Gold tier will be enough for me, lol—more than sufficient!! The sauce bar has plenty of options and even has freshness covers! Everything was clean and tidy, which was impressive, especially since it was busy. For a buffet, a messy sauce station is a turn-off, but they clearly maintain it well. Lots of veggies and fruits, and you can even make your own braised pork rice or curry rice. My husband said the most memorable thing was their curry sauce—he loved it! 😤 (Maybe I’m coming without him next time! 😆) Don’t miss the ice cream~ When I went, it was strawberry and coffee flavor—they change it periodically~ Oh, and one more thing!! The service was really great—I happily left a generous tip. Orders came super fast, and when clearing plates, they were careful not to disturb our meal!! So, restaurant owners and staff!! It’s not that we don’t want to tip well—we just want to reward good service! 💯 Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House | Irvine 3745 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606 What’s your ultimate AYCE (all-you-can-eat) indulgence?
