Los Rios Ranch in SoCal's East Valley for Apple Picking! 🐓🍎

Last October when I came, it was pretty chilly—but this year it’s so warm, and way more crowded! Starting from Rancho, it only took about an hour to get here. Not too far at all! After a meal, we hopped on the 10 Freeway heading east. Following the navigation to Los Rios Ranch, you’ll arrive at a lively little town. Drive all the way to the end, and you’ll find the parking lot. 🅿️ The parking area has been expanded, and even the dirt road can be used for parking now, so no need to worry about finding a spot! Inside the town, there’s a botanical garden🏜️ with a 2-mile trail you can walk. You can also pick apples while you’re there! The scenery is absolutely beautiful. And it’s free to enter! The greeter at the entrance is a friendly foreigner who can even speak a little Chinese—though his Mandarin isn’t better than my English. 😄 Across the street from the town, there’s another apple-picking farm. It’s huge, with so many varieties of apples! 🍏🍎 In addition to apples, the farm also has pumpkins 🎃 and corn 🌽. They provide plastic bags for picking. Apples are sold for around $4.50 per pound.
