Lost in the Aromas of Midtown New York(2)🌟
◾️Wagyu Pho was such a letdown!! There was only one and a half slices of wagyu, and the meat quality was just average. Charging $45 for this?! The broth wasn’t good either! My dining buddy and I complained about it the entire night. 😭 🌸 Here are some better alternatives I’ve found: Ka Prao Over Rice with Fried Egg — I went for the crispy pork version and paid an extra $9 for it, which was totally unnecessary. The Ka Prao Over Rice with crispy pork from Wondee Siam, a street-side stall not far away, was so much more flavorful and satisfying. 🌸 Also, the minced pork version from Charoen Krung was incredibly delicious. If you’re craving this dish, I highly recommend these two places. They offer much better value for your money! 🌟 Pad Thai 🍤 — The shrimp were really not fresh. Even though I’ve complained about Sappe before, at least their shrimp are always big and super fresh. 🌸The overall portion sizes for dinner were quite small. However, I thought the lunch portions were quite filling and good value for money. It’s perfect for Midtown workers! As always, Thai food tends to be a bit salty and sour. If anyone has other dish recommendations from this place, feel free to comment! I’ll definitely be going back. 🌸 #Manhattan #NewYork 🌃🌟
