Louisiana New Orleans National WWII Museum

🏛️On November 29, 2024, Thanksgiving Day, The National WWII Museum was closed. I rushed there early this morning, and it was already crowded. 📍This national WWII memorial tells the story of the war from the American perspective. It covers everything from America’s initial isolationism to its decision to enter the war, including propaganda, recruitment, training, the impact of the war on various American races, women’s participation, the Normandy landings, the Flying Tigers, Pearl Harbor, the Battle of the Coral Sea, the Tokyo Trials, Anne Frank’s diary, and even the protection of artwork during the war, and so much more. It’s truly comprehensive. 🚶‍♂️🕰️🍽️🏰The visit was completed in about four hours. I didn’t watch the movie. Then I spent another hour eating and resting. #AmericanLife #Louisiana #NewOrleans #WWII
