Louisiana The World’s Most Beautiful Modern Art Museum
Every time I come to Copenhagen, there’s one place I always revisit… no joke, I genuinely wish I could live here. The most famous sculpture checkpoint changed from Giacometti to Louise Bourgeois’ spider last month, so if you visit during this period, you’ll see a different side of Louisiana. (Bourgeois’ work from London to Tokyo, and now again in Denmark, I feel like I’m really destined to see her art, and I love her highly personal expression.)✨ This time, the museum featured an interesting exhibition where various architectural firms showcased innovative uses of eco-friendly materials. You could see bricks made from seaweed and chairs made from different plants. It felt like I was a kid again at a science museum, wanting to play with everything! It was a very interactive part of the exhibition. (Unfortunately, I lost the photos from this section 😭) Besides that, there was also a large ocean-themed exhibition, featuring works by Georgia O’Keeffe, which were beautiful and powerful in person.✨ Whenever I visit major modern art museums around the world, I always discover new perspectives on feminism from various artists. Creations from different media, eras, and cultural backgrounds all tell us that female creativity is full of courage. We are not afraid to express ourselves, and this era will gradually hear our voices.✨ After exploring the museum, make sure to visit the sea nearby! In the moment you see the sunset, all anxiety and worries disappear, leaving only the sound of the waves and the wind. This is also a great spot to take some memorable life photos ❄️ (Yayoi Kusama’s “In Infinity” doesn’t require a special queue to see, as only four people can enter at a time, and it’s quite small. Those who have seen it in other cities might find it a bit disappointing.) Someday, I’ll be a permanent resident of Copenhagen! #Travel #Copenhagen #LouisianaMuseum #Denmark #CopenhagenTravel #NordicTravel #ContemporaryArt #FemaleArtists #FemalePower #Copenhagen
