Loved the Experience – Even in the Rain! 🌧️💚

Even on a rainy day, this land was absolutely beautiful. There’s a serene, almost mystical atmosphere when the gardens and pathways are glistening with rain—and it definitely didn’t take away from the depth of the experience. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable and didn’t shy away from telling the real, often difficult history of the enslaved people who lived and worked here. Their stories were shared with respect and honesty, making the tour both educational and moving. 🗣️📖 I also loved that they have a dedicated app with a map of the grounds. If you book tickets online, you can upload them directly into the app—so convenient and eco-friendly! 📱🌿 And yes—you’re guaranteed to spot some fascinating wildlife! We saw herons, turtles, and even a few shy alligators from a safe distance. 🐢🦆 But a little warning: come prepared with bug spray… those mosquitoes are fearless! 🦟😅 A meaningful, well-organized, and memorable visit—rain or shine.
