Madison | Thai Basil – Absolutely Love Their Crab Fried Rice! 🦀🥡

I’ve been to Thai Basil many times since it opened. Located on University Ave, next to Starbucks and across from Metro Market. At first, I tried a bunch of different dishes, but now I always end up ordering the same thing—Crab Meat Fried Rice 😂 Out of 4 friends dining together, 3 ordered it this time (same as last time lol!). 🦀 Crab Meat Fried Rice - $18.95 So delicious—must-order every time! The seasoning is lighter than other fried rice, maybe to let the crab flavor shine? 👌 🍍 Pineapple Fried Rice - $14.95 Tried a bite—has a subtle curry flavor with big chunks of pineapple! 🍢 Chicken Satay - $9.95 Classic Thai appetizer—solid and reliable. We always order it without thinking. 🥭 Sweet Sticky Rice With Mango - $9.95 Seasonal dessert—was surprised it was available! They don’t serve it when mangoes aren’t sweet enough. A must-try if you have a sweet tooth! 📌 Other dishes I’ve tried before: Fried Tofu: Similar to Chinese-style fried tofu. Curry: All are tasty and safe to order. Thai Ice Tea: Sweet and creamy—love it! Papaya Salad: Made with crunchy papaya, sweet and sour flavor. Pad Thai: A bit on the tangy side. Tom Yum: Not really my thing—mostly broth. Sweet Sticky Rice With Thai Custard: Tried it when mango wasn’t available… not great.
