Madrid's Monet Garden: A Must-Visit

Spanish art is diverse and seemingly endless. With Picasso, Dali, Gaudi, Goya, and more, there's so much to take in. But this time, we chose the Sorolla Museum in Madrid. Sorolla, the master of Spanish Impressionism and light and shadow, lived and worked in this small, typically Spanish, neo-Mudejar style house in his later years. Let's call this master the Renoir of Spain. The museum is almost filled with Sorolla's most famous works. The painter is adept at creating dreams with light and shadow, his color brushstrokes are very warm, and his paintings are filled with the hot sunshine of Andalusia, even seeming to emit the fragrance of orange blossoms. You can almost see the joy of the girls on the beach and in the meadows. He also particularly liked to create romantic scenes of mothers and children, with the beauty of love almost overflowing from the frames. Even if you don't understand art, you must come here to experience it. People in the garden form a beautiful scene on their own, very pleasing to the eye. I wonder if the beautiful scenery at every step here is also part of the painter's creation? 📣 The closing times of various art museums in Madrid are different. Prado, Sofia, and others have different closing times. If you go there specifically, you must do your homework in advance. 🖼️ Sorolla Museum Museo Sorolla ⏰ Tuesday-Saturday 09:30-20:00, Sunday 09:30-13:45 (closed on Mondays) 🏠: 37 General Martinez Campos, Madrid, Spain 🎫: 3€ #NationalDaySlowTravel #Madrid #Spain #Impressionism #LittleRedBookArtShiningPlan #MadridExhibition #PhotographyPose #SorollaMuseum
