Makino Park 🌸🌿
Makino Park is named after "the Father of Japanese Botany," Dr. Makino Tomitarō. 🌸🌿 Dr. Makino gifted Yoshino cherry saplings to Sagawa-machi, and with the diligent planting and care of various tree saplings by the local residents, 🌸🌿 Makino Park has become one of the top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. The park is home to 17 different species of cherry blossom trees. 🌸🌺 During the cherry blossom festival, it is especially recommended to visit at night. 🌸🌿 From the old streets of Sagawa-machi leading up to the park, lanterns are hung throughout, creating a festive atmosphere. 🏮🌃 During this period, the park also sets up food stalls, 🌸🌿 allowing visitors to enjoy both the beauty of the blossoms and delicious treats. 🍢🍴 #Japan 🍃🌿
