MASSIVE Portions of Chinese Food in Luxor! 😭
Who understands the struggle? 😫 After a week in Egypt, I finally found delicious Chinese food! After trying Arab cuisine in Cairo, I never wanted it again. Every day was fast food chains, and in Hurghada, the all-inclusive hotel served bland "white people food" every day. 😴 But in Luxor, I tried TWO Chinese restaurants—and I was moved to tears! 😭 🍚 Day 1: Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant (Can be found on Google Maps! 🗺️) AMAZING food! I ordered eggplant over rice—the portion was HUGE! 🤯 We each got a main dish + two side dishes—all generously sized. Except for the noodles (not quite authentic Shaanxi style), everything was delicious and authentic, including the dumplings! 🥟 Accepts WeChat/Alipay and even offers currency exchange via WeChat! 💰 🍜 Day 2: Restaurant Near the Cruise Dock (Three restaurants nearby: "Dynasty" and "Shanghai," but we chose the one on the second floor!) No photos because we were too hungry—but portions were also massive! 🍛 Food was decent (hunger is the best sauce 😉). No WeChat payment or currency exchange, but the boss was super nice and gave us free rice! 🍚 📍 Both are on the East Bank and close to each other! #LuxorChineseFood #LuxorEats #LuxorTravel #FoodieHeaven #ChineseFoodAbroad 🇪🇬🍜
