Matcha Ice Cream Near Senso-ji Temple: A 30-Minute Wait ๐จ
๐๐ธMy best friend and I have been wanting to try this place for ages, and today we finally made it! ๐ ๐ Address: On the roadside to the north of Senso-ji Temple. Shop Name: Suzukien Asakusa ๐๐The shop opens at 11:00 a.m., and when we arrived right on time, there was already a long line. The queue inside the store twisted and turned three times, and there was also a long line outside along the roadside. ๐๐ธ Thankfully, we only waited for half an hour before we got our ice cream. ๐ฐ๏ธ Two scoops cost just 28.24 RMB โ what a steal! The limited-edition cherry blossom mochi is incredibly photogenic! ๐ธ ๐๐ It was delicious! Totally worth the 30-minute wait. I chose flavors 3 and 5, while my best friend went for number 7. ๐๐ธOverall, none of the flavors had the bitterness you sometimes find in domestic matcha. We ordered downstairs and ate upstairs. ๐๐ The shop is small, but the staff were super friendly, especially the uncle who helped maintain order and even assisted with moving our luggage to the door. ๐ #IceCream #MatchaIceCream #Matcha ๐๐
