Me Chicken Rice Challenge: If You Don't Like It, Come at Me! ๐
A tiny Thai Hainanese chicken rice restaurant on the street. Just a 5-minute walk from Bobst Library, it may not have many seats, but the service speed is super fast๐. ๐ธ๐ It's a top pick for many NYU students for lunch, dinner, or a quick bite before rushing to class๐. ๐ Here, I highly recommend my favorite set mealโฌ๏ธ (because I always order this and haven't tried anything else): ๐ Steamed Chicken Rice Set: The set includes chicken broth rice, steamed chicken, some giblets, and a bowl of soup. There's plenty of chicken, which is super tender and fresh. You can tell it's from a good, fresh chicken. The giblets are well-prepared with no fishy taste at all. It's a light dish but full of flavor. ๐ธ๐ For those who prefer strong flavors, you can dip it in the sauce provided in the set, but I've never done that because it's already super fragrant without the sauce. The chicken broth has a bit of radish, and although there's a bit too much pepper, taking a bite of the chicken-flavored rice and sipping the hot soup really warms you up from head to toe in winter. It's so satisfying it feels like you could faint from happiness. ๐ธ๐The atmosphere in the small shop is great, with lots of Thai decorations. The owner is very thoughtful, with hooks on the wall to hang bags and clothes. During meal times, it might be full, but the food comes out quickly, and everyone eats fast, so you won't have to wait long. #NewYorkFood #LifeFragments๐งฉ #StoreExploration
