Just returned from Medan, and I'm still dreaming about its perfect weather and breathtaking landscapes! Though it was just a short trip, every moment felt precious. Here's my fresh-off-the-memory recap! Compared to my Bali trip last year, Medan was so much more comfortable—fewer crowds, no suffocating heat, and blissfully tourist-light. Our guide said we hit the jackpot with timing: not a single drop of rain the entire trip! ☀️✨ Highlights You Can't Miss: ⛪ 【HKBP SIDIHONI CHURCH】 Located on Samosir Island, this fairy-tale chapel blew me away! Photos don’t do justice to its serene, dreamy vibe—like stepping into a storybook. 🗿 【BUKIT SIBEA-BEA JESUS STATUE】 The tallest Jesus statue in the world! Crowded at noon (our timing wasn’t ideal 😅), but the view from the winding mountain road was EPIC—seeing it tower over the summit gave me chills! 💦 【SIPISO-PISO WATERFALL】 PSA: Wear sneakers if you plan to hike down! The stairs back up are brutal for couch potatoes like me. We settled for the halfway café view—still stunning! Trip Notes: Some spots were closed due to landslides, requiring detours (time-consuming but part of the adventure!). Our guide was super attentive, squeezing in every request possible. Verdict?
