Memorial Day Record

** Strolling Through the Estate + Al Fresco Lunch by the Lake** This Memorial Day, I chose a cozy and healing route: In the afternoon, I visited the Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island. It felt like stepping into an English court garden! Under the blue sky and white clouds, roses, irises, and peonies were in full bloom, and every casual snap looked like an oil painting. 😍 If you love a slow pace, you mustn't miss this place. It's perfect for taking photos and relaxing your mind and body. After wandering through the garden, I drove to Roslyn next door and picked the Italian restaurant Felice for lunch. The atmosphere inside was vintage and exquisite, and the outdoor seating was a huge plus! 🌞 The sunlight shone on the red brick floor, with rattan chairs and white tablecloths, creating a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a small town in the South of France. I ordered Fried Calamari and Branzino (baked sea bass in parchment), served with olives, cherry tomatoes, and potatoes. The food was truly delicious, with the fish being very fresh and tender, juicy and flavorful. The biggest surprise was when a little duck waddled over during the meal, as if on a β€œpatrol.” It was just too adorable, calmly circling around everyone's feet, looking for food. It was like the restaurant's mascot! πŸ˜‚ By the lake, you could also see a group of wild ducks swimming leisurely, a perfect blend of people and nature. This holiday scene is definitely worth recording! The essence of a holiday is probably to live life like a painting on such a sunny and fragrant day. 🌸 #NewYork #WeekendCloseToNature #ImmersiveParkVisit #HealingPark #ASunnyAfternoon #LongIsland #OldWestburyEstate #FeliceRestaurant #LongIslandCuisine #NewYorkLife
