Mexico City | A Wave of Delicious Restaurants!
🐟Contramar is an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant that also has a very good reputation among locals. Highly recommended is the signature dish, the double-colored grilled fish, 🐟which is tender and juicy. When paired with the secret bean sauce, guacamole, and lemon juice wrapped in a taco shell, it's incredibly delicious. The raw tuna taco with avocado mayo is also very refreshing. Additionally, there are many dessert options after the meal. I highly recommend the fig tart, which is not overly sweet and can be paired with a cup of local coffee wine. 🐟It's advisable to make a reservation in advance on OpenTable or the official website, as the waiting time can be up to 2 hours! Lunch is only served on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a very popular restaurant that requires a wait~Reservations are recommended, and the must-order dish is the grilled fish (just show the picture when ordering). The octopus taco I ordered was also delicious. So many people are in line; we arrived at 3 pm for a walk-in and had to wait 3 hours 😅The good thing is that you can leave after leaving your name and 🐟don't have to wait there. You can use this time to explore the surrounding area and come back just in time for dinner. Tuna taco 💯, scallop taco has a strong flavor and it's hard to taste the scallop, but it's still good. The grilled fish is very tender and juicy. We ordered a 700-800 lb one for over 1000 pesos, and I personally don't think it's worth it.
