Mia Bella📍 Little Italy, Cleveland
🍝 Located near Case Western Reserve University, Mia Bella sits in Cleveland’s tiny but charming "Little Italy" (literally just one street!). Alongside its neighbor La Dolce Vita, it’s a local favorite for Italian food. My cousin picked Mia Bella—maybe because the name ("My Beautiful" in Italian?) sounded nice, but I personally preferred the interior vibe of La Dolce Vita. Mia Bella’s dining room was way too dim for me, and though they had a live classical band, I opted for outdoor seating. 🍞 Bread service – Pretty bad. 🚫 Hard and flavorless, even with olive oil. 🍆 Appetizer: Eggplant Parmesan – Only 3 thin slices, but honestly the best dish of the night (and their most popular!). 🍝 Pasta: Verde (no protein added) – Too al dente for my taste, but my cousin liked it. 🐔 Main: Chicken Parmesan – A total miss 👎 – both of us agreed it was poorly made. 💸 Bill: ~$80 (incl. tip). Pro tip: Paying in cash saves the 3% card fee! 🚌 After dinner, we explored Case Western’s beautiful campus (great for a stroll!). If you go earlier, check out the nearby botanical garden & museum. This area is perfect for car-free travelers—there’s a direct bus from downtown! 📝 That’s all for now! Off to Cuyahoga Valley National Park next! 🌿🚶♂️ #Cleveland #Ohio #CWRU #ItalianFood #Pasta #USATravel #TravelTips #FoodieFail 😅🍷
