Mia's First Summer Adventure to the Beach ππΎ
Living in the city, Mia, our Labrador, had never been to the seaside, and at three years old, how could that be? We immediately planned a trip to Southern France. π: We took the train from Paris to Cannes, a total of five and a half hours. The dog ticket was 7β¬ each. During the peak tourist season (May to September), dogs are not allowed on the beaches of Cannes during the day. However, after dark when the staff has left, you can sneak your dog onto the beach. ποΈ: Due to these restrictions, we took Mia to the Ile Sainte-Marguerite near Cannes. It's a 15-minute boat ride away! You can board and buy tickets at Quai Max Laubeuf (there's a discount for those under 25 (16.5β¬ round trip/dogs go free π). Ile Sainte-Marguerite is really worth a visit, with a secluded feel. After tiring on the beach, you can sit in the nearby forest or walk around the island. It's very pleasant. π: Families bringing their dogs must remember to bring plenty of water! We brought four bottles because Mia drank a lot of seawater while swimming, and the weather was also very hot, so she was always thirsty. We finished all the water in less than three hours. Also, remember to bring sandwiches and snacks. #Labrador #TravelingWithDogs #SummerWithDogs #SouthernFranceTravel #Cannes #DogBeach #DogSwimming #LabradorDaily #DogDaily #SouthernFranceTravelGuide
