Miami đď¸ď˝Ultimate Relaxation Guide
This Is What A Real Vacation Should Feel Like! Turns out, a real vacation isnât about rushing aroundâitâs about slowing down and doing nothing at all. This trip was all about embracing the art of doing nothing! đ´đ¤ đĄăAbout the Hotelă We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa for 6 days and 5 nights. đ3025 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140 It has great ratings on both Google Maps and Booking.com, plus its own private beach! The hotel has a tropical Southeast Asian vibe đ´ and smells amazingâlike soothing tea tree oil! Thereâs a cute little shop in the lobby (I may have visited one too many times đâgrabbed souvenirs, morning coffee, and even Miami-style ice cream in the afternoon!). The backyard has a beautiful pool area and a wedding venue surrounded by lush plants, banana trees, bamboo, and palm treesâso picturesque! They offer free wellness classes every morning, mostly yogaâsome in the garden, some right on the beach. Such a lovely experience! đ§ââď¸đ đŞ The room wasnât huge, but it was long and spacious enough. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas and two sinksâsuper convenient! We booked an ocean-front view, and waking up to the sea every day was absolutely healing đâ¤ď¸. Note: Rooms donât have balconies. đââď¸ăFavorite Experiencesă đ We arrived on Wednesday night and took a day trip to Key West on Friday. đď¸ Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday were all about sleeping in and spending ultra-chill days lounging by the sea or pool, eating, drinking, and repeating. We didnât visit a single downtown attraction! August isnât peak season due to hurricane weather and heat, but honestlyâthe beach weather was perfect. The ocean was warm, and even when wet, the breeze felt amazing. đď¸ The hotel has its own umbrellas âąď¸ and beach chairs. You can walk straight from the back door onto the sand. Just let one of the attendants know youâd like a beach chairâtheyâll set you up with towels and help you pick the perfect spot. đ˝ď¸ Dinner at the hotel wasnât anything special, but the pool/beach menu and bar were great! A 20% gratuity is automatically added, but the service is absolutely worth it. You can order right from your beach chair, and staff bring everything to you. They work so hard under the hot sunâleaving that tip felt totally deserved. đâď¸ â¨ Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! We booked through the official website and spent around $2000 for the stayâand it was worth every penny. A huge part of why this trip felt so restorative was because of where we stayed. This was my first real âdo-nothingâ vacation. Normally Iâd be running around visiting museums and sightsâbut this time? Pure rest. And it felt amazing. I finally understandâyou really can have the time of your life just lying somewhere beautiful. Already dreaming of the next trip! đđ Have you ever been on a pure relaxation vacation?
