Miami 🏝️|Ultimate Relaxation Guide

This Is What A Real Vacation Should Feel Like! Turns out, a real vacation isn’t about rushing around—it’s about slowing down and doing nothing at all. This trip was all about embracing the art of doing nothing! 😴💤 🏡【About the Hotel】 We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa for 6 days and 5 nights. 📍3025 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140 It has great ratings on both Google Maps and Booking.com, plus its own private beach! The hotel has a tropical Southeast Asian vibe 🌴 and smells amazing—like soothing tea tree oil! There’s a cute little shop in the lobby (I may have visited one too many times 😂—grabbed souvenirs, morning coffee, and even Miami-style ice cream in the afternoon!). The backyard has a beautiful pool area and a wedding venue surrounded by lush plants, banana trees, bamboo, and palm trees—so picturesque! They offer free wellness classes every morning, mostly yoga—some in the garden, some right on the beach. Such a lovely experience! 🧘‍♀️🌅 🪟 The room wasn’t huge, but it was long and spacious enough. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas and two sinks—super convenient! We booked an ocean-front view, and waking up to the sea every day was absolutely healing 😭❤️. Note: Rooms don’t have balconies. 💆‍♀️【Favorite Experiences】 🚌 We arrived on Wednesday night and took a day trip to Key West on Friday. 🏝️ Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday were all about sleeping in and spending ultra-chill days lounging by the sea or pool, eating, drinking, and repeating. We didn’t visit a single downtown attraction! August isn’t peak season due to hurricane weather and heat, but honestly—the beach weather was perfect. The ocean was warm, and even when wet, the breeze felt amazing. 🏖️ The hotel has its own umbrellas ⛱️ and beach chairs. You can walk straight from the back door onto the sand. Just let one of the attendants know you’d like a beach chair—they’ll set you up with towels and help you pick the perfect spot. 🍽️ Dinner at the hotel wasn’t anything special, but the pool/beach menu and bar were great! A 20% gratuity is automatically added, but the service is absolutely worth it. You can order right from your beach chair, and staff bring everything to you. They work so hard under the hot sun—leaving that tip felt totally deserved. 🙏☀️ ✨ Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! We booked through the official website and spent around $2000 for the stay—and it was worth every penny. A huge part of why this trip felt so restorative was because of where we stayed. This was my first real “do-nothing” vacation. Normally I’d be running around visiting museums and sights—but this time? Pure rest. And it felt amazing. I finally understand—you really can have the time of your life just lying somewhere beautiful. Already dreaming of the next trip! 🌊💛 Have you ever been on a pure relaxation vacation?
