Michelin Thai cuisine restruant in NY--Soothr

—————— Egg Custard Glutinous Rice 🍮 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I highly recommend this off-menu dessert! I originally wanted to have mango sticky rice, but the waiter informed us that mangoes are out of season and suggested we try this instead. The custard on top is incredibly smooth and melts with the slightest touch of the tongue, filling the mouth with creamy and coconut flavors. The coconut sticky rice at the bottom is just the right amount of sweetness, with a slight addition of tamarind juice to balance the taste. Shrimp in Yellow Curry (Koong Karee) 🦐 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 The sauce of this dish is amazing with rice, the kind that can make you eat several bowls. The curry sauce is enriched with eggs, making it fragrant and thick. I particularly enjoy the firm and elastic shrimp inside. Thai Spicy Ribs (Sir-Krong Moo Pad Ped) 🍖 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 The ribs are stewed until tender with Thai chili sauce, falling off the bone with the slightest effort. The ribs are evenly marbled with fat and meat, offering plenty of oily and meaty flavors. However, both this dish and the Shrimp in Yellow Curry are a bit salty, which is why they both lost half a star. Fried Chicken (Had Yai Chicken) 🍗 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 Made in the southern Thai style, it's crispy even without a batter. The chicken's juices are well-sealed, and the skin is not greasy at all. It pairs well with the sweet and sour sauce! Dry Sukhothai Tom Yum Noodles 🍜 🌟🌟🌟🌟 It's somewhat like a Tom Yum version of Pad Thai, with sweet and sour flavors complemented by spiciness. The dish is filled with ingredients such as fish balls, fish cakes, char siu, and minced pork, but it's slightly less impressive compared to the previous dishes. —————— 💛Soothr 📍204 E 13th St, New York, NY 10003 #Soothr#New York#food diary
