๐Ÿ“ Foul Witch, 15 Ave A TLDR: Itโ€™s Michelin-level and worth revisiting! The name is unforgettable, haha. The ambiance is really well-thought-out, the lights are so beautiful, and the service is great, except for the time when the waiter didnโ€™t warn me that the pigโ€™s head dish was scalding hot. ๐Ÿž The pre-meal bread gets 99 points. Iโ€™m deducting one point because they donโ€™t refill it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿท Testa The pigโ€™s head meat made the Northerner swoon with its aroma, probably seasoned with fennel. Iโ€™ll order it again next time! ๐Ÿ… Tripe The tomato sauce with tripe was my first time trying it. When it arrived, the red blob almost had me confused. Itโ€™s tender and charred, and the Southerner really loves it. ๐Ÿ Nโ€™duja Pasta We both loved this dish! Itโ€™s a type of Italian dumpling (here the Southerner gave the Northerner a five-minute crash course on the difference between tortellini and cappelletti). Itโ€™s mildly spicy with a subtle lamb flavor. This place is truly a master of seasoning. ๐Ÿ Lamb Shoulder The lamb lover (the Northerner) really enjoyed it. The meat is well-marbled, and the pairing with fava beans and asparagus is very refreshing. Next time, I have to try the guinea hen! The former boss was quite disappointed when he heard we didnโ€™t order it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™ll also try the dessert next time. This time, I went to the ice cream shop Bad Habit on 7/14 (see previous notes).
