Michelin one-star Ortensia in Paris

🥂I decided to give it a try since many people recommended it online. It was pretty easy to get a reservation; I managed to book a table just three days in advance! This restaurant offers a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. I opted for the 185 EUR 7-course menu, which came to a total of 217 EUR including drinks. 🎉🍰Every dish was impressive, not a single one was disappointing. I especially loved the beef tartare and the dessert. I’d heard their desserts were fantastic, and it’s truly well-deserved. The caramel fragments paired with vanilla foam, leading to a delicate jasmine sorbet at the bottom, along with crispy pear and almond milk jelly – could the flavor profile get any richer?! After the previous courses, this dessert was truly refreshing! 🌟🍽️The waitstaff consisted mainly of a French person (I assume) and a Japanese guy. Both were great at chatting and could describe each dish in detail, attending to the needs of every customer. The service attitude was top-notch, and the emotional value was off the charts!! In short, highly recommended!! It’s a place I would definitely visit again. #Paris #ParisFood #ParisMichelinRestaurant #ParisTravel
