Michelin-Recommended Sicilian-Style Italian Cuisine: Norma 🌟
📍 Norma Hell's Kitchen 801 9th Ave, New York, NY 10019 This restaurant has made it onto the Michelin Bib Gourmand list! Norma has two locations in New York—one in Murray Hill on the East Side of Midtown Manhattan, and the other in Hell's Kitchen on the West Side, which is where we visited today. 🌆 🌟 Most of the servers are Italian, and there’s a guy at the front desk who looks a bit like the actor Timothée Chalamet! The owner is from Sicily, Italy, making this a truly authentic Sicilian Italian restaurant in New York. The average cost per person is around $30-$50. Here’s what we tried today: 🍕 Prosciutto & Rucola Pizza ($28) A classic pizza with prosciutto and arugula. The cheese is rich and flavorful, the crust is thin and soft, and the fresh arugula and Parma ham make a great combination. However, the ham was a bit too salty for my taste—maybe that’s just how Sicilians like it! 🍕 🍤 Fritto Misto ($29) A mixed platter of fried seafood and vegetables, including cod, shrimp, baby octopus, and squid rings. The exterior is crispy and delicious, and the lemon juice adds a perfect zesty touch. 🍤 🍹 Sicilian Sunset ($16) This cocktail is perfect for a summer day, with a refreshing fruity flavor and a light, sweet finish. It’s a delightful drink! 🍸 #NYCItalianFood #SicilianCuisine 🌟
