Michelin Restaurant Exploration Record ๐: Astrance
๐I had some free time after class today and decided to make a reservation at Astrance, a restaurant near the museum... I ordered the Season Menu, and they brought out a bunch of dishes. It's a rare occasion that at a Michelin restaurant, I felt full after just having a piece of bread... ๐For the specifics of the dishes, you can refer to the pictures... This place exudes a French-Japanese fusion vibe, from the decor to the food. The most interesting dishes were the two desserts. ๐At first glance, they seemed ordinary, but the combination of the crushed ice cream on top and the base that tasted like strawberries was surprisingly delightful! The other dessert was also quite intriguing, with a literal vegetable ice cream and vegetables, but the taste was quite good (I was skeptical at first, but when I dug into it and found more vegetables, I was amazed). The rest of the dishes that stood out were the sauce on the fish, the roasted pigeon leg in the corner (though the foie gras was just average), and something inside the egg (it looked like egg liquid but tasted like green tea milk tea, which I really enjoyed!) #RestaurantRecommendation #Paris #Michelin #MichelinRestaurantExploration #MichelinRestaurant #ParisMichelinRestaurant #FrenchMichelin
