Michigan | Travertine City β Trattoria Stella π
During my trip to Traverse City, I visited this well-known Italian restaurant β Trattoria Stella. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! π π Spanish Octopus: I was actually a bit disappointed with this dish. Since Iβd seen so many rave reviews, my expectations were pretty high. But the octopus turned out to be quite salty β I had to take a sip of water after almost every bite π . However, I really loved the sausage at the bottom soaked in tomato sauce β so flavorful! π π Fettucine: This is a seasonal dish, so it might not be available all year round. It featured morel mushrooms, which the staff said are only available for a few weeks in May. The mushrooms were indeed fresh and fragrant π. The pasta is homemade β you can really taste the freshness! π¦ Bucatini (Special of the Day): This wasnβt on the regular menu β it was a daily special. Topped with fried soft-shell crab and shrimp underneath. I wasnβt a huge fan of the crab β it felt a bit too oily for me π«€. The dish was okay overall β not a total fail, but probably not something Iβd order again. π° Tiramisu: Pretty standard β neither exceptional nor disappointing. A solid Italian dining experience with some hits and misses β would still recommend giving it a try if youβre in the area! π #Michigan #TraverseCity #ItalianCuisine #FoodReview #DateNightRestaurant
