Michigan | Travertine City – Trattoria Stella 🍝

During my trip to Traverse City, I visited this well-known Italian restaurant – Trattoria Stella. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! πŸ‘ πŸ™ Spanish Octopus: I was actually a bit disappointed with this dish. Since I’d seen so many rave reviews, my expectations were pretty high. But the octopus turned out to be quite salty – I had to take a sip of water after almost every bite πŸ˜…. However, I really loved the sausage at the bottom soaked in tomato sauce – so flavorful! πŸ˜‹ πŸ„ Fettucine: This is a seasonal dish, so it might not be available all year round. It featured morel mushrooms, which the staff said are only available for a few weeks in May. The mushrooms were indeed fresh and fragrant πŸƒ. The pasta is homemade – you can really taste the freshness! πŸ¦€ Bucatini (Special of the Day): This wasn’t on the regular menu – it was a daily special. Topped with fried soft-shell crab and shrimp underneath. I wasn’t a huge fan of the crab – it felt a bit too oily for me 🫀. The dish was okay overall – not a total fail, but probably not something I’d order again. 🍰 Tiramisu: Pretty standard – neither exceptional nor disappointing. A solid Italian dining experience with some hits and misses – would still recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area! πŸ‘Œ #Michigan #TraverseCity #ItalianCuisine #FoodReview #DateNightRestaurant
