Midterms in the US = Nonstop Exams All Semester 😵💫
Turns out “midterm season” here really means: one wave of exams after another, from September straight through November. As a chemistry major bravely venturing into ChemE’s math- and physics-heavy territory, my daily life has become a cycle of review, homework, and projects — all while prepping for the Qualifying Exam just four months into the program. 🐷⚗️📚 Sometimes I wonder… my PhD journey seems so different from everyone else’s on! 🥲 — 🍂 But November on Campus Is Pure Magic Walking across campus or gazing out from the library, I’m met with a breathtaking mix of yellow, red, green, blue, and purple — all crashing beautifully into my vision. 🍁✨ The weather in Atlanta has been nothing short of dreamy. 👩🍳 Cooking as Therapy (Kinda) I’ve been trying to cook to stay sane — like this stir-fried potato and green pepper dish Looks delicious, right? Well… everything except the minced meat was somehow still undercooked. 😂 Hanging in there — one problem set, one autumn walk, one (almost) edible meal at a time. #PhDStruggles #ChemELife #GeorgiaTech #StudentDiaries #AutumnInATL #CookingFails #AcademicLife #PigInPhD #KeepGoing
