Midtown NYC: The Day Before Thanksgiving 🌆
This was my third day in the city—beyond just meals and MoMA. I wandered through Midtown, where everything felt wrapped up, both literally and in holiday anticipation. There was The Peninsula Hotel, shrouded in scaffolding, and the Louis Vuitton flagship, elegantly covered in renovation wrap—like the city itself was a gift in progress. I stopped by St. Patrick’s Cathedral, its Gothic spires standing serene amid the buzz, and made my way to Rockefeller Center, where the iconic Christmas tree had just been erected (still covered in scaffolding when I first arrived 🏗️🎄). Next, I popped into Nintendo NY—a fun visit, though not exactly a shopper’s paradise 🎮. And as evening fell, the Empire State Building began to glow, lighting up the dusk like a beacon calling the city home. Every corner in New York feels familiar—like a scene from a movie, a photo, a memory. There’s a strange comfort in recognizing places you’ve never been. #NYC #MidtownManhattan #ThanksgivingEve #NYCStreets #HolidaySeason #RockefellerCenter #StPatricksCathedral #EmpireStateBuilding #NintendoNY #CityWandering #UrbanVibes #NYCArchitecture #NYCMoments #FestiveNYC #OnlyInNewYork
