Mikiya Sukiyaki – Irvine’s New Spot for A5 Wagyu Freedom! 🐮✨

Irvine’s latest hot spot – an all-you-can-eat Japanese sukiyaki and Wagyu paradise! The interior is minimalist yet elegant, with soft lighting and comfortable spacing – perfect for gatherings or dates. 🍲 What to Eat? The star is clearly the Wagyu sukiyaki hot pot AYCE! They offer several tiers: Silver / Gold / Diamond – ranging from ~$40 to nearly $100 I went with Diamond 💎 – a true Wagyu lover’s dream! 🥩 Wagyu Selection A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye: Truly melt-in-your-mouth – marbling like art 🎨 Just a 5-second dip in the broth, then into raw egg – the richness is unreal! A5 Wagyu Chuck Flap & Brisket: Chewier, crisp-tender, with a lovely fat aroma – totally addictive! 🦞 Seafood Platter Includes abalone, tiger shrimp, scallops, oysters, crab legs The abalone is super fresh and bouncy, scallops are tender and perfect with sesame sauce. 🍣 Sashimi & Hand Rolls Sweet shrimp, salmon, tuna, yellowtail – all fresh and flavorful. Plus hand rolls – so many delicious choices, it’s almost overwhelming 😆 🥑 Wagyu Tartare Diced Wagyu with avocado – fresh, sweet, and impossible to stop eating! 🍖 Roasted Bone Marrow Charred on top, smooth and rich inside – spread on bread for pure happiness! 🥬 Veggies & More Mushrooms, greens, tofu, udon – all self-serve at the buffet bar. Don’t miss the kabocha squash cooked in sukiyaki broth – soft, sweet, and a must-try! 🍲 Broth Options I tried the classic sukiyaki (sweet soy with caramel notes) and spicy miso (mild, great with seafood). 🍍🍦 Dessert Fresh fruit (the pineapple was surprisingly sweet and not tart!) + soft-serve ice cream with rotating flavors. 📍 Mikiya 3745 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606 💁‍♀️ Service was excellent – staff refill broths and meat promptly. It gets busy during dinner – come early or make a reservation! #LAEats #LALife #LAMustTry #SukiyakiLove #JapaneseAYCE #IrvineFood #WagyuHeaven 🥘
