Milwaukee | Braving -25°C & a Snowstorm for This Meal… ❄️ Was It Worth
Yeah, it was literally a blizzard in Milwaukee 🌨️😱… the kind of weather where you question all your life choices! Who else knows the struggle of filming outside with a phone in -25°C ❄️😂 Shoutout to my real ones who still showed up for a meal in this weather 👏❤️ 🍃 Atmosphere: We originally wanted to go to a seafood spot, but they had no staff today (obviously… the snow 😅). So we trudged through the storm 🥶 and walked to a nearby place. Took us a good 15 minutes after sitting down to finally feel our fingers again 😂… and that’s when I realized—the decor looked super familiar! Turns out it was Cooper’s Hawk! I’d been to one in Chicago before 🍷✨ 🧸 Drunk Shrimp ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our server highly recommended this appetizer—and she deserves a raise 🍗👏The shrimp were perfectly seared with a crispy edge, and the sauce was amazing. Tasted like avocado mash with mustard, egg yolk, and a boozy kick 🥑🍤 🧸 Ginger Salmon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The mashed potatoes were slightly sweet 🥔, same with the salad dressing. The salmon itself was mild—typical salmon vibe—with a subtle ginger glaze. Really delicious though 📦 Final Verdict: Highly recommend! The whole restaurant was running with just one chef and one server today 👨🍳👩🍳, yet the food and service were still top-tier. After previously having their amazing risotto, today was another win—zero regrets 🙌! #FoodJourney #MilwaukeeEats #MKEfood #MilwaukeeFoodie #USFoodFinds #CooperSHawk #SnowstormFea
