Milwaukee Food Guide ❤️ Save This Post!
Having stayed at the Kimpton in Milwaukee and dined out for almost two months, I’ve put together a food guide just for you! Due to word limits, I’ll skip the disappointing spots—here are all the highly recommended places I’ve tried: 🥞 Brunch Sweet Diner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A trendy Instagram-friendly spot with great food and atmosphere. The Mexican Bowl and Chicken & Waffles are must-tries! 📌 Tip: It gets busy after 10 AM on weekends—arrive early! Café Benelux ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food leans more American-style. Locals love their brunch and Bloody Marys. Lunch, dinner, and beer here are also worth trying! 🍽️ Dinner Onesto ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 An amazing Italian restaurant—delicious whether you dine in or take out! 📌 Tip: It’s popular, so reserve a table online in advance. Char’d ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Modern Korean cuisine—haven’t tried a single dish I didn’t like! Sze Chuan Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A bit far from downtown, but perfect when you’re craving authentic Chinese food—tasty and affordable! Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Creative Mexican dishes and a tequila bar. Enjoy tacos + tequila with outdoor seating and river views! 🌮🍹 Kanpai Izakaya ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit for Japanese food lovers! Their sashimi boat is generous and satisfying. 🍣 The King and I Thai Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Located downtown—named after the famous musical. Their curry is incredibly flavorful, and the service is great! Xankia ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic and affordable Vietnamese pho in downtown. Personally prefer it over Lucky Ginger’s pho! 🍜 🍣 Poke Bowl Aloha and Fresh Fin ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I prefer Fresh Fin—their tuna tastes fresher! 🍤 Public Market St. Paul Fish Company ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 A must-try for their famous lobster roll! 📌 Tip: Limited dine-in seating—better to take out. Plenty of public seating upstairs in the market. #Milwaukee #ChicagoDayTrip #FoodGuide #TravelTips 🍴✨
